With the support of the Executive Chef, you will be accountable for all culinary, operational and administrative standards as well as the financial results of the Room Service Kitchen, which incorporates Room Service, Park Lounge and Park Café.
You will be responsible for:
· Developing and maintaining recipes which allow the outlets to operate food and labor costs within the established budget.
· Controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
Ensuring that culinary standards comply with Company and Hotel Policies and Procedures and Minimum Standards. Maximising employee productivity and morale and consistently maintain discipline following hotel guidelines and local legislation. QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant qualifications/certificates in Cookery, HACCP & local Food Safety Handling & Hygiene. Exceptional people management skills and a commitment to developing employees. The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure. A strong attention to detail and the desire to produce high quality operational and administrative outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written & verbal) skills. The flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and evenings.
