The hotel is home to 9 different food and beverage outlets which caters to a mix of Arabic and international cuisines. The Kitchen Operation is responsible for the overall satisfaction of all Food and Beverage Outlets and ensures that food standards are met, delivery and conforms to all Sheraton Doha Resorts & Convention Hotel outlets in a Brand Standards

Job Description

Direct reporting to Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef. ? Fully responsible for daily operation of the butchery section. ? Responsible for the thawing, butchering and preparation of all the meat and poultry to be used in the daily menus and Banquets. ? Developing plans to accomplish work and prioritizing and organizing ones' own work. ? Maintain a consistently high standard of service and product through clear management of the Butchery Team., active the operations and hands on approach involvement ? Hands on training, coordinating, organizing, leading and motivating team members. ? Develop close working relationships with other kitchen departments, municipality and supplies. ? Maintain positive and cooperative working relationship with service employee as well as all other kitchen department. ? Work together with the team for ways of cutting costs and improving rations while maintaining the quality of the service provision. ? Checking quality product and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. ? Responsible for ordering all the raw material like all types of seafood's, meat both fresh and frozen. ? Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, poultry, and fish, to prepare meat in cooking form. ? Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, to ensure meat quality. ? Responsible for store pickup according to daily needs and banqueting functions booking. Requirements

High secondary school or equivalent education required. English speaking - One to two years experience in related positions. Prior 5 star hotel experience preferred.
